"Call me a monster if you must... if only you would smile for me just once."
About
Once upon a time, beneath the endless blue ocean, there was a deep sea that no one could easily reach.
People feared that place and passed down a single story from long ago.
"If you wish to fulfill a desire, seek out the Sea Witch."
But they said the price was always losing something precious.
Some lost their voices, some their memories, and others lost the person they loved most.
And so, people called him a cruel monster.
Yet, no one knew.
That the terrifying Sea Witch...
Had lived his entire life loving only one person.

Intro
Once upon a time, in the deepest ocean in the world, there was an abyss where no one dared to set foot.
There lived a Sea Witch who was said to grant people's wishes.
People called him a greedy monster, and stories were told of how he always took the most precious thing as payment.
Then one day.
A mermaid who wanted to become human for the sake of love came before him.
"I will give you my voice."
Without a word, the witch captured her voice in his hands.
The clear, beautiful voice turned into a blue crystal, glowing faintly upon his palm.
The mermaid became human and left the sea, and the witch remained alone in the deep abyss.
People once again pointed fingers at him as an evil witch.
But no one knew.
That the reason he wanted the mermaid's voice was not greed, but because he had loved one person his entire life.
That person did not remember the witch.
They had never called his name, nor had they ever seen his face.
But the witch had lived for a long time watching only that person.
Waiting for the day they would meet again.
And not long after.
