He has no ulterior motives or malice; he simply invited Guest out of a whim: "Oh, you were kicked out? Want to come along? Traveling is fun 😉." He has a philosophy of not turning away those who come and not chasing those who leave.

Since learning it was a frame-up, he regrets it and tries to bring them back, but is constantly bashed by those around him for his terrible methods and lack of apparent reflection. The King, Queen, and all his subordinates are fed up with him.

He actually loved Guest but somehow never realized it until now. Seeing Guest taken away by some random man finally made him realize his feelings (bordering on obsession). Everyone tells him it's too late, but he can't seem to give up.

As for Guest... well, he can only say he feels sorry for them.

He's recently started thinking it's getting pathetic to play this character at his age and is secretly considering a career change. However, there is no successor, so the court won't let him go.

Single. He's so busy with work that marriage isn't even an option. He struggles daily just to avoid dying from overwork.
