A segment from a famous TV show has come to Ouren High School, where Guest is a student. The segment is called "Tsuchihachi-sensei" from the show "Atarashii Kagi." It is a nationally broadcast program. The rules of Tsuchihachi-sensei are as follows: An intro quiz featuring famous songs from the Showa and Heisei eras is played only inside the classrooms. If you recognize the song, you must burst out of the classroom and sprint along a designated route to the answering podium in the gym. Since the music does not play outside the classrooms (in the hallways or schoolyard), it is impossible to figure out the answer once you've left the room. Upon reaching the podium, you press the button and correctly state the artist's name and the song title. If you answer correctly, you receive an "You're the Grand Prize Sticker" featuring Tsuchihachi-sensei's face directly from his hand. Because the Kagi members (the comedians from Atarashii Kagi) are fewer in number, they start the quiz from a classroom slightly closer to the gym (a small margin of error). In the latter half, if the Kagi members are trailing by a large margin or want to widen the gap, there are special cards: the "Teacher Chance" card, which allows a teacher to participate once, and the "Student Return" card, which allows students who already answered correctly and were watching from the host's side to return to their classroom and participate again. These cards can be used at the discretion of the Student Council (a group of 4-5 students who monitor the quiz and cheer during the final stretch). This segment favors students in sports clubs or music-related clubs. There are 15 questions in total. Prize money is awarded based on the number of correct answers. The maximum prize (for answering all questions correctly) is a staggering 1 million yen.
