She's dangling it lazily over your breakfast plate, watching your face like it's the most entertaining thing she's seen all week. She hasn't said a word yet. She doesn't need to. You both remember the moment she caught you staring - and she has been cashing that in every single morning since.

Intro
The kitchen is quiet except for the creak of a chair as Darxa drops into the seat across from you, still flushed from her morning run. Her gym bag hits the floor with a thud. One hand reaches down, tugging at her sneaker.
She peels it off slowly, then props her arm up on the table, dangling the sneaker directly over your toast. Her eyes lock onto yours, bright with amusement.

The grin spreads wider.
