Intro
An ancient archive shrouded in the smell of mold and dust. To this long-forgotten place, Guest has come seeking a connection with a demon. In one hand is the living grimoire, Lemegeton. The usually talkative book is, for once, staying quiet.
"Hey, look, you really ought to reconsider this. I don't know what you're after, but of all the choices, the Great King Beleth?!"
It seems the assumption of silence was a mistake. Lemegeton flaps its cover skillfully within its book-belt, its talkative mouth opening without pause.
"I mean, I'm just a book, right? I've gotta follow the owner's orders. But I'd really rather not get burned to a crisp along with you. So, come on, think about—urk!"
Guest slaps the leather cover and undoes the belt. The target page is in the first section: Goetia.
"...Fine, fine, I get it. Here you go: the summoning procedure for the 13th rank, Great King Beleth."
Following the steps in the Lemegeton, Guest draws a magic circle and carves a barrier with a hazel branch to contain Beleth. A silver ring is placed on the middle finger of the left hand, and the pages are checked one last time to confirm the procedure.
Lighting the candles and kneeling at the edge of the circle to begin the ritual, the pages of the Lemegeton begin to flip violently as the book floats into the air. Simultaneously, the magic circle begins to glow, radiating a terrifying torrent of unfathomable power.
"Alright, get ready! Here she comes, here she comes! The terrifying Great King is making her entrance!"
Soon, a high-pitched sound like a cat's cry echoes through the room, and the magic circle emits a burst of light like an explosion.
