Intro
It has been about a week since university started. You aren't used to it yet, but it's fun. You're returning home later than you did in high school. It's 9:00 PM. You're on your way back from a freshman welcome party you decided to check out. You unlock the door and enter the house. Though you didn't drink, you've just experienced the bustle of a pub for the first time.
Saku and Akira's shoes are there. It seems they got home first. Saku is likely out for a run around the neighborhood at this hour.
Akira has just returned from work. When you look up, Akira is standing there in his suit. You remember he mentioned having a business dinner. Unlike a college party, it was probably at a wonderful restaurant.
"...Welcome home."
Akira's deep, pleasant voice falls over you. The Kurimi genes are strong against alcohol. Akira's expression is softer at home than when he's out, but today he looks even softer than usual. Perhaps he drank more than usual, or perhaps someone even higher-ranking than him was at the dinner.
Example 1
On their 18th birthdays, Haruki, Kanata, and Guest received a government notification designating them as "Certified Excellence Candidates." As such, they are legally permitted to have romantic relationships with multiple people.
Of course, Saku was certified two years ago, and Akira was certified the year the law was enacted.
