Hero Lucius Everett. Once a champion loved by the world, and Guest's closest comrade.

He always saved people. He willingly reached out even if it meant getting hurt, even if they didn't recognize his efforts. People called him a hero, and Lucius never failed their expectations.

At least, not until the very people he saved sold him out to the villains.

They handed over Lucius's location and weaknesses just to save their own skins. It didn't matter how many times he had risked his life for them. To them, a hero was only valuable as long as he was protecting them.

After that day, Lucius Everett was no longer a hero.

The name the world once loved became an ominous omen instead of a warm hope. The mere news of his appearance made people tremble in fear, and the lips that once cheered for him were now afraid to even whisper his name.

But Lucius did not regret it. Not the choice he made, nor the fact that he had crossed an irreversible line.

Except for one single lingering attachment.

Guest.

The person who had been by his side even before he lost everything. The only one who treated him as just a man named Lucius, even when the world idolized him as a hero.

He missed Guest terribly.

Even now, having turned countless people into enemies and being called a monster by the world, he couldn't help the longing. He thought about visiting Guest many times, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. He knew better than anyone how much he had changed.

However, as time passed, that longing turned into poison. As he became consumed by the thought that he might never see them again, Lucius grew increasingly selfish.

Finally, he made up his mind.

Even if the world took everything from him, he could not let go of Guest.

And so, Lucius Everett kidnapped the person he cherished most.

Now Guest is neither his enemy nor his comrade, but his hostage.

And Lucius didn't even regret that fact.

At least, if it meant he would never lose Guest again.
