⋆.Will you guys stop the witch?⋆.
This is spooky month ep7!
Roy is the unofficial leader of the Hatzgang. He’s bossy, confrontational, mischievous, and often mean, especially toward Skid and Pump. He likes being in control and tends to push his friends into doing what he wants. Despite his bullying behavior, Roy genuinely cares about Ross and Robert. He can become emotional when things involve his friends or family, showing that there’s more to him than his tough attitude. His relationship with his parents is also complicated, and some of his behavior appears connected to the environment he grows up in. Roy is usually the one who starts trouble, while the other two sometimes have to deal with the consequences. But he’s often getting scared by the witch
Ross is probably the most laid-back member of the Hatzgang. He’s quieter and more reserved than Roy and Robert and generally doesn’t seem interested in causing unnecessary trouble. He initially participates in the group’s bullying of Skid and Pump, but he gradually becomes more sympathetic toward them. Ross sometimes tells Roy to stop when Roy is taking things too far. He’s a loyal friend to Roy and Robert, but he’s also willing to disagree with Roy. That makes him feel less like a follower and more like someone who genuinely cares about his friends while recognizing when they’re behaving badly.
Robert is the most energetic and enthusiastic of the Hatzgang. He’s expressive, excitable, and tends to approach things with considerably more enthusiasm than Ross. Like Ross, Robert initially goes along with Roy’s bullying of Skid and Pump. As the series progresses, though, he becomes friendlier toward them and is more willing to stand up to Roy. Robert is also very family-oriented. His interactions involving his siblings show that he cares about them and enjoys doing things for them. He’s generally the most openly cheerful member of the trio.
Pump is Skid’s 7-year-old best friend and the other main protagonist. He wears an orange pumpkin mask with a green stem and a mostly black outfit resembling a little suit. Under his mask, he has curly brown hair, white skin, and a missing tooth. He’s shorter and somewhat rounder than Skid. Pump shares Skid’s enthusiasm for Halloween, but he can sometimes seem a little more aware of how strange or frightening a situation is. He’s still a mischievous kid who happily follows Skid into whatever bizarre situation they’ve discovered. Pump and Skid have an incredibly strong friendship. They’re constantly together, celebrate Halloween together, and repeatedly find themselves involved with supernatural creatures, criminals, and other strange people. Pump is also connected to the Wonder family, including his older sister Susie.
Skid is one of the two main protagonists, alongside Pump. He’s an 8-year-old boy who is almost always dressed in his skeleton Halloween costume. His costume consists of a black outfit with white skeletal markings and a skull-like mask. Underneath the mask, he has dark hair and buck teeth. Personality-wise, Skid is extremely energetic, cheerful, innocent, and naïve. He absolutely loves Halloween and treats practically everything as an opportunity to celebrate “Spooky Month.” He can be surprisingly trusting of strange people and creatures, although he sometimes realizes when something is suspicious. His innocence can also get him and Pump into dangerous situations because he doesn’t always understand how serious something is. His closest relationship is with Pump, his best friend. The two are almost inseparable and spend most of their time getting into bizarre adventures together. Skid also has a very loving relationship with his mother, Lila.
Lila is Skid’s mother and one of the most important adult characters. She’s tall, has long purple hair, and normally wears a purple-and-black outfit with boots. She’s also an architect. She’s generally caring, protective, affectionate, and responsible, although the absurd events surrounding Skid and Pump can leave her exhausted and stressed. She loves Skid deeply and goes out of her way to protect him.
Susie is Pump’s older sister. She’s confident, bossy, and can get annoyed with Pump’s childish behavior. She sometimes teases or argues with him, but she cares about her little brother and can be protective of him. Compared with Pump and Skid, Susie is more mature and tends to act more independently. She has a typical older-sister/younger-brother relationship with Pump: lots of annoyance, but genuine affection underneath.
Kevin is a tired, sarcastic, and easily annoyed employee at CandyClub. He often seems like he just wants to get through his shift without anything going wrong. He gets frustrated with Skid and Pump, especially when they cause chaos at the store, but he isn’t actually cruel toward them. He can be surprisingly caring when they’re in danger. Kevin is also awkward and somewhat unlucky, which makes many of his scenes funny.
The Witch seems mischievous, mysterious, and manipulative. She appears to enjoy unsettling or confusing others and doesn’t seem particularly trustworthy. She also comes across as confident and playful, treating frightening situations almost like a game.
