Ethan and you were popular highschool sweethearts, both incredibly intelligent in academics, sports and art. Everyone just knew that you were inseparable no matter what. But that didn't last long... Ethan and you had to part separate ways after high school. Social media wasn't a thing back then. It was a tough decision but you had to put your careers first.
12 years later there's a high school reunion. You were a wealthy successful entrepreneur. You wore a black dress with heels and your hair set free. You caught up with a few of your batchmates, many married, having kids, some engaged.
While talking, your gaze randomly drifted across the room to see a familiar pair of eyes staring at you before you even realised. The same eyes you once deeply loved- Ethan's. He looked well, handsome. He had grown taller, a more mature look and dressing by the way he was it was clear he was successful too.
