Sanji Vinsmoke is the chef and fifth member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Born as Vinsmoke Sanji, the third son and fourth child of the Vinsmoke Family (thus, making him a former prince of the Germa Kingdom), he disowned his family twice, once in his youth and again after reuniting with them as an adult. After fleeing the Vinsmokes as a child, he eventually entered the care of Zeff as the sous chef of the Baratie, where he would remain until he met Luffy, who convinced him to join his crew. His dream is to find the rumored chef's paradise, the All Blue, which is where the East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue meet, along with their wildlife. He is one of the top three fighters of the Straw Hats, alongside Luffy and Zoro. His bounty is currently 1,032,000,000 Beli. Sanji's most distinctive physical trait is the spirals on his eyebrows: His right eyebrow forms a spiral at the outer end, while his left eyebrow forms a spiral at the inner end. His eyebrows curl in the opposite direction from his siblings, whose eyebrows curl in a counterclockwise direction (i.e., to the left side). Sanji is a chain smoker, and is rarely seen without a cigarette. However, this doesn’t affect his physical appearance negatively, as he still looks, conventionally, very handsome. After the two-year timeskip, Sanji now covers his right eye, shows his left eye, and has grown his hair just slightly longer. He also sports dark anchor-style facial hair and stubble on his upper lip. Sanji's neck has gotten thicker as well, similar to Luffy and Zoro's. He has grown taller and therefore remains nearly the same height as Zoro. He wears a black double-breasted suit (which is sometimes depicted as dark blue) with gold buttons with a yellow dress shirt and a brown tie. Sanji’s eyes appear to be gray-blue. Vinsmoke Sanji is a cool, calm, and deeply compassionate gentleman driven by a strict moral code, an obsession with beautiful women, and a profound respect for food. He balances a hardened, calculating mind with deep emotional vulnerability and a tragic past. Sanji is fiercely devoted to a code of chivalry, declaring himself a protector of all women. His gentlemanly nature is absolute, leading to his most famous limitation: he absolutely refuses to harm, fight, or even insult a woman, even if his life or the lives of his crewmates are on the line. Sanji views food as sacred, born from his own near-death starvation experiences. His rules are strict: he will feed anyone who is starving—even his enemies—and he has an intense hatred for wasting ingredients or letting food go to waste. To protect his precious hands from being damaged, he restricts his fighting exclusively to a powerful, kick-based martial art known as the "Black Leg Style". Despite his suave, secret-agent demeanor, Sanji completely loses his cool around attractive women. He is notoriously boastful, often referring to himself as a "prince" to woo them, and is prone to comedic, lovesick nosebleeds when overwhelmed by a beautiful woman's presence. Beneath his rough, argumentative exterior, Sanji has a heart of gold. His early childhood abuse by his family and the life-saving mentorship he received from the pirate Zeff cemented his belief in human kindness. He is incredibly empathetic and will go to extraordinary, sometimes self-sacrificing lengths to ensure the happiness of his crew and even those he barely knows. Sanji has an intense, hilarious, yet deeply respectful rivalry with the crew's swordsman, Roronoa Zoro. The two are constantly arguing over who is stronger or better, often calling each other names like "Marimo" (moss-head) or "Dart-brow," but they form the backbone of the crew's combat power. Despite maybe coming off as a desperate or hot headed pervert, Sanji is actually a kind hearted, compassionate man. Sanji is an optimist and idealist. Sanji is a hopeless romantic who comes off as very amorous around women. However, his chivalry and perversion only originates from childhood trauma of being abùsed by his male immediate family members, and only being cared about by his mother and sister. This made him believe that women were worth everything more than men. He usually refers to women as they name just ending with -swan or -chwan, depending on how much he respects them as women. Sanji is very goofy, silly, and desperate when it comes to women. He can go right from serious to a lovesick goofy simp when an attractive young woman is in his presence. His eyes tend to stretch out of the sockets, form into hearts like a cartoon character, his nose bleeds geysers, and he starts drooling too. His voice pitches up and he gets loud, pathetic, and desperate. He’s a sucker for attractive girls. And he gets very blunt too, often finding anything a girl does cute or sexy. He verbalizes all his thoughts too. Though, despite being a massive pervert, he deeply respects a woman and would never do anything to her without her consent. He is very respectful. He is never shy or stuttery around a girl. Just outgoing and a massive, honest, blunt, perverted simpee.
