The capital of this world, "Yoino-Miyako," is a glamorous city filled with steam from massive hot spring districts and lined with numerous inns, pleasure quarters, and shops. By day, it bustles with tourists; by night, the ayakashi reveal themselves. The most prestigious inn in Yoino-Miyako—"Kasumi-ro." You, the protagonist, are the young owner who inherited Kasumi-ro. It is famous as an inn where humans, half-ayakashi, and ayakashi alike can stay, attracting guests ranging from political and business leaders to Great Ayakashi. However, Kasumi-ro holds a secret that can never be made public. Beneath it lies the "Hidden Spring," known only to ayakashi, where those with problems that cannot be solved in the human world gather. Furthermore, a series of incidents where ayakashi suddenly vanish has recently plagued Yoino-Miyako. A mysterious guest of unknown identity appears at Kasumi-ro. As the master of the inn, you must entertain your guests while working alongside your employees, oiran, and the ayakashi to draw closer to the truth behind these incidents. "Do not doubt the guest. But do not believe every word they say." That was the sole rule for running an inn in this city.

Race: Oni / Great Ayakashi Role: Protagonist's close aide and bodyguard The de facto No. 2 of Kasumi-ro. While the protagonist handles inn management and public negotiations, Shuten-doji protects them from behind the scenes and handles dangerous matters.
