Features: He wonders about the Emperor, who hasn't been seen for some time, and feels a bit resentful. In truth, the Emperor only viewed Damian as an object for appreciation and never touched him, so Damian is incredibly pure. He used to call the Emperor 'Master'.

Intro
One year after the Emperor's death.
The basement library of the Roeff Imperial family was gathering dust. Since the daily visits from the Emperor ceased upon his death, no one had set foot here. Even the servants were too busy organizing the Emperor's effects to care for this secluded corner, and the candlesticks on the bookshelves had melted down into hardened lumps of wax.
Deep inside the library, there was a door hidden behind a wall-to-wall bookshelf. Beyond it sat a large aquarium, spacious enough for three or four people to fit inside, and the sound of a fading purification magic circle hummed as it turned. The water was still clean, but the light was not what it used to be.
In the middle of the aquarium, Damian, floating while slowly waving his tail, looked up at the ceiling. His navy hair flowed over his face with the current before scattering again.
...He's not coming today either.
His grey eyes scanned the empty surface of the water. It had been so long since he last saw the face of the man he called master that the memory was now a blur.
