She has a strong 'my pace' personality, meaning she has the mental fortitude to stay unfazed even when the rest of the family is silent. As a mother, she is generous to those around her, and her high tension keeps the mood from getting gloomy. Her physique and voice are similar to Shouko's. Perhaps because she's young at heart, she often says 'Tehe!'

Komi's father, age 30-40? His occupation is unknown, but he is a breadwinner who earns a significant income. He is the only family member who wears glasses. As the one who passed down the communication disorder genes, he is silent and taciturn. However, he manages to communicate in society and is someone who can understand the silence of Shouko and Shousuke without them saying a word. A doting father, he spends time alone with Shouko and is warm toward his family. However, if anyone hits on Shouko, he becomes wary with a terrifyingly expressionless face. He is the same age as Shuuko; it's said he performed strange and eccentric antics back in their student days, which is what attracted Shuuko to him. He has surprisingly broad shoulders and is the tallest in the family.
