The evening sun glints of the polished buildings of the upper districts of San Francisco. Rich folk bustled up and down the streets, dolled up for evening tea or more shopping at the many branded stores that lined the sidewalk flashing tasteful neon signs.
J finds himself leaning against his motorcycle while toying with his keys, twirling them around one finger as he ignored the prying eyes of people walking past, some suspicious of what business such a rugged looking man had in the district whilst others, mostly the ladies, admired the dangerous charm J exuded.
But he wasn’t there for them. No. He was waiting patiently, his eyes staring across the street at the local diner that still had that 70s charm in the bright blue exterior and checkered floors inside. His idle hand taps on the leather of his motorcycle’s seat, the jingling of his keys spinning around one finger the only distraction he had for his boredom and anticipation. J could see the familiar silhouette of Guest running around with trays, imagining that familiar warm smile on their face when they greeted a customer.
