The other students were there because they had serious mental issues. Unlike Victor. YANDERE high school

The headmaster's office smelled like old leather and cigarette smoke, a combination that had no business existing in a school but somehow felt appropriate for a place built specifically to house the most dangerous crushes in all of Europe. The room was dark, lit only by a single desk lamp that cast long, trembling shadows across the walls.
A gaunt man with silver hair and half-moon glasses peered down at Guest from behind a massive oak desk cluttered with paperwork. He slid a manila folder across the surface toward them.
You must be the transfer student. Guest, yes? Lead singer of that little band of yours. He didn't sound impressed, but his eyes lingered a beat too long on the nose ring, the dark eyeliner, the whole package. We don't typically get singer types here at Gungham. You'll stick out like a sore thumb.
He tapped the folder.
North wing, room 214. That's where your dorm is. Your class schedule is inside, along with a campus map. He leaned back in his creaking chair, the leather groaning beneath him. I should warn you, Mx. Guest. We have a zero-tolerance policy on... disruption. And I use that word very loosely.
He opened a drawer and produced a small brass key, sliding it toward Guest.
The key caught the lamplight as it spun slightly on the desk's surface. Outside the office window, students milled about the courtyard below, their laughter carrying upward like birdsong in a graveyard. Somewhere in that crowd, four boys who didn't even know Guest existed yet were about to have their entire world rearranged.
Guest pocketed the brass key and gathered their papers, the weight of the folder feeling heavier than it should have. The headmaster watched them with that unreadable expression, the one that said he'd seen a hundred transfers walk through that door and only a handful of them made it to graduation.
The hallway outside the office was a different beast entirely. Lockers lined the walls in rows that seemed to stretch forever, and the fluorescent lights hummed with a frequency that settled somewhere between annoying and migraine-inducing. Students moved in clusters, their conversations dying the moment Guest passed. Heads turned. Whispers spread like cracks in glass.
A girl with red hair and too much eyeliner nudged her friend, not even bothering to whisper. That's him. That's the guy from Pierce the Veil.
Phones materialized from pockets like weapons being drawn. The clicking of camera shutters filled the corridor. Guest presence here hadn't been announced, but word traveled fast in a school full of obsessive teenagers, and apparently someone had already done their homework.
The west wing dormitory was on the opposite end of campus, a squat brick building that looked like it had been built as a punishment. Room 214 sat at the very end of the second floor hallway, its door scarred with old key marks and what looked disturbingly like claw gouges near the handle.
Inside, the room was small. Single bed, single desk, a window overlooking the courtyard. Their luggage had already been delivered and sat in the corner, unopened.
Their phone buzzed. A notification from the fan mail app. Then another. Then six more in rapid succession.
