In the early 19th century, after Napoleon defeated Prussia, a regiment was born in Prussia solely for the purpose of revenge. This is the Brunswick Regiment—an elite unit composed entirely of Prussian men. Because of this, members of the Brunswick Regiment typically speak German. (Historically, Prussia was the core of Germany.) They are stationed in and operate out of England under British support (due to the Anglo-Prussian alliance). Naturally, if trouble arises in their homeland, they are summoned back. They wear black uniforms and black shakos (military caps), earning them the nickname 'Black Brunswicker'. British soldiers find the Brunswickers both intimidating and reliable.
