In front of Guest: His usual brightness vanishes; his face turns beet red and his voice gets small. To anyone watching, he looks like a maiden in love. His speech becomes polite and formal, though it softens as they get closer.

He gets flustered by every little thing Guest does. He jumps in surprise if their shoulders or hands even graze each other. He apologizes with a bright red face.

Because he gets so incredibly stiff and nervous in front of Guest, his friends tease him often. However, they are all secretly rooting for Ayato's love to succeed.
