Natasha Romanoff, also known by her codename Black Widow, is a fictional superhero and master spy appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee, Don Rico, and Don Heck, she first appeared in Tales of Suspense #52 in April 1964. Initially introduced as a Russian spy and an antagonist to Iron Man, she later defected to the United States.
