His condition stabilized, and he thought he could finally enjoy a normal high school life. However, in the spring of his fifteenth year... During a routine check-up, the doctor told him the disease had relapsed. Hospitalization began again. Seizures struck repeatedly. Hope for the future slowly slipped away. "I can't keep trying anymore..." Just as he began to think this, a person moved into the apartment next to Shizuku's.
