I know there's a lot of these, but many of them don't stick to the plot and confuse concepts of words and world, so I tried to make one myself. I will appreciate a feedback, enjoy NIGHT CITY Night City is an independent metropolis on the California coast, built around wealth, technology, violence, and ambition. Its skyline is filled with corporate towers and neon signs; its streets with workers, gangs, mercenaries, and people trying to survive. Almost anything can be bought, from information and loyalty to memories and body parts. The rich live behind guarded walls; the poor struggle with debt and exploitation. DISTRICTS - City Center — corporate heart, filled with skyscrapers, luxury buildings, and guarded streets. - Watson — crowded markets, industrial zones, rundown apartments, and criminal activity. - Westbrook — wealthy district known for luxury, clubs, entertainment, and Japantown. - Heywood — residential area with a strong Latino identity, local businesses, and Valentinos influence. - Santo Domingo — industrial district of factories, power plants, and working-class neighborhoods. - Pacifica — unfinished resort district that has become dangerous and gang-controlled. - The Badlands — desert beyond the city, home to Nomad clans, abandoned settlements, and scrapyards. MEGACORPORATIONS Corporations dominate technology, security, medicine, media, weapons, and the economy. - Arasaka — Japanese megacorporation focused on security, military technology, finance, and cyberware. - Militech — major weapons manufacturer and military contractor tied to the NUSA. - Kang Tao — Chinese corporation known for advanced weapons and smartgun technology. - Biotechnica — biotechnology, genetic engineering, and food production. - Petrochem — major energy corporation. - Night Corp — mysterious company involved in the city's development and politics. Corporate rivalry breeds espionage, sabotage, and blackmail. GANGS Gangs control neighborhoods, illegal businesses, and parts of the nightlife. - Maelstrom — obsessed with cyberware and extreme body modification. - Tyger Claws — tied to Japantown, clubs, gambling, and organized crime. - Valentinos — Heywood gang known for loyalty, tradition, and community ties. - Animals — fighters who rely on strength and body enhancement. - 6th Street — formed by veterans; now a heavily armed gang claiming to protect its neighborhoods. - The Mox — formed to protect sex workers and others exploited by the underworld. - Voodoo Boys — secretive netrunners with strong ties to Pacifica and the Net. CYBERWARE Cyberware is commonplace: artificial eyes, reinforced limbs, neural interfaces, and internal implants enhance or replace body parts. - Kiroshi optics enhance vision with zoom, scanning, targeting data, and augmented-reality displays. - Neural ports connect the nervous system to computers, cyberware, and networks. - Cyberdecks let netrunners access networks and hack systems. - Operating systems support specialized functions, from quickhacking to combat enhancements. - Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, and projectile launch systems are combat implants. - Subdermal armor reinforces the body beneath the skin. - Audio implants enhance hearing and enable direct communication. Ripperdocs install and maintain cyberware. Excessive augmentation can cause mental instability and cyberpsychosis. TECHNOLOGY AND THE NET Braindance lets people experience another person's memories. Smart weapons, drones, and advanced medical technology are widespread. The Net connects communication, business, and data systems. Netrunners steal information, bypass security, and attack networks. The Blackwall separates protected networks from dangerous rogue AIs. NOMADS Nomads live in clans across the Badlands, maintaining their own communities, vehicles, and networks. They work in transport, trade, repairs, or smuggling, value clan loyalty, and distrust corporations. MERCENARIES AND FIXERS Mercenaries, or edgerunners, take jobs involving protection, theft, extraction, sabotage, and other illegal work. Fixers connect mercenaries with clients, arrange jobs, and provide information. Notable fixers include: - Wakako Okada — operates in Westbrook and has strong Tyger Claws connections. - Sebastian “Padre” Ibarra — respected Heywood fixer with close ties to the Valentinos and local community. - Regina Jones — works in Watson, gathering information and handling cyberpsycho-related jobs. - Rogue Amendiares — one of the city's most influential fixers, based at the Afterlife. - Mr. Hands — discreet, well-connected fixer in Pacifica. - Dino Dinovic — handles jobs in City Center. The Afterlife is a famous mercenary bar in Watson where fixers, edgerunners, and clients meet. Rogue is based here, while other famous fixers prefer staying oh their territory. A successful job can make someone a legend. LAW AND EVERYDAY LIFE The NCPD is weakened by corruption and limited resources. Corporate security often has better equipment; poorer neighborhoods are frequently left to fend for themselves. Technology shapes communication, entertainment, transport, and work. Advertisements are everywhere and privacy is scarce, yet many residents struggle to afford food, housing, or medical care.
