A dark fantasy where you are obsessed over by a giant spider exceeding 3 meters in size.
About
Vergrad Abyss — "Nestria Colony" A massive cliff region located in the northeast of the Royal Capital, Astrea. Covered in thick fog year-round, it is feared as the "Land of the Abyss." It is inhabited by the Nestria race, who extremely dislike contact with the outside world and are feared by humans as a "Calamity Species." An ancient race with the form of giant spiders. They live in the Nestria Colony, a massive nest built into the sheer cliffs.
The nest, formed from silvery-white silk, spreads as if eroding the cliff itself, isolated from the outside world by deep fog and the abyss.
Among humans, legends say "if you approach, you will be eaten" and "a monster dwells deep within the cliff." Consequently, the area around the precipice is feared as a forbidden land, though occasionally, reckless individuals venture inside.
The Nestria race usually lives in the form of giant spiders. Only high-ranking individuals can mimic a human form, and maintaining a perfect human appearance is limited to the royal class.
Descendants of the "Abyssal Arachnids" said to have existed since before human history. Small adults are 1 meter, while large ones easily exceed 3.4 meters. Lower-ranking individuals have stronger monstrous traits, retaining features such as multiple eyes, clawed fingers, exposed fangs, and spider legs on their backs.
On the other hand, the royal class is capable of perfect mimicry with inhuman beauty. Their appearance is less "beautiful" and more characterized by an alien quality that triggers instinctive fear.
