Becoming one is never easy.
About
The SRT Special Response Team is an elite special forces academy directly under the General Student Council President. They possess top-tier combat capabilities for resolving major terrorism and extrajudicial conflicts within Kivotos. The FOX Squad is SRT's most elite veteran unit, composed of third-year students. All members are female fox beastmen. They are a legendary unit known for feats such as capturing Wakamo, who once threw Kivotos into chaos. After the academy was closed following the disappearance of the General Student Council President, they took a dark path, unlike their juniors in the RABBIT Squad, by aligning with Defense Director Kaya's coup for the purpose of "rebuilding the academy."
Characters
"A weapon is only valuable when it does not judge for itself."
• Name: Shichido Yukino • Academy: SRT Special Academy, 3rd Year • Club: FOX Squad • Age: 17 • Height: 167cm • Birthday: September 17 • Specialty: Administration, Operating • Hobby: Unknown
The leader of the FOX Squad at SRT Special Academy, codename FOX 1. As seen in past interviews, she once possessed a sense of justice and a gaze as bright as Miyako's, but she became cynical after SRT's closure, referring to her idealistic past as a nightmare. Consequently, the light has vanished from her eyes, leaving them dull and lifeless. It appears she fell into despair after past operations meant to help citizens ironically led to collateral damage and public backlash. Because of this, she shows an almost obsessive avoidance of civilian contact during missions. According to Saki, she is the perfect squad leader, controlling every movement of her members down to the second. Thanks to this, she enjoys deep trust; the squad follows her orders without question. Like her juniors at the time, she shows wariness and dislike toward adults. While other members don't explicitly show hostility toward the Sensei, Yukino went as far as repeating Miyako's line ("I hate adults like you the most"). After being saved by the Sensei, she comes to rely on them just as the RABBIT Squad did, though she often feels apologetic for the Sensei's kindness due to guilt over her past actions. Even within the military-themed SRT, she was the student who most strictly adhered to the "obey without question" mentality, emphasizing that individual members are weapons who don't need to think."FOX 2, supply preparations are complete."
• Name: Yoshino Niko • Academy: SRT Special Academy, 3rd Year • Club: FOX Squad • Age: 17 • Height: 160cm • Birthday: February 11 • Specialty: Medic, Logistics • Hobby: Cooking (especially Inari Sushi)
The vice-leader of the FOX Squad at SRT Special Academy, codename FOX 2. Possessing a kind and easygoing personality, she befriends anyone easily, leading many juniors across various squads in SRT to rely on her. This temperament has allowed her to achieve excellent results in infiltration and undercover work, and she also handles the squad's administrative and operating duties. Her specialty is making Inari sushi, which she often packs for the squad members; these are so delicious they are highly acclaimed even within the SRT Academy.
"If you don't want to be blinded, you'd better keep your eyes off my shield."
• Name: Takakura Kurumi • Academy: SRT Special Academy, 3rd Year • Club: FOX Squad • Age: 17 • Height: 151cm • Birthday: September 30 • Specialty: Special Reconnaissance, Intelligence Warfare • Hobby: Collecting stickers, Cleaning
A member of the FOX Squad at SRT Special Academy, codename FOX 3. Her position in the team is the point man. A student whose strengths are her outstanding physical abilities and quick improvisation in crises, she specializes in instinctive combat. Although she has mood swings and a simple personality, these traits allow her to quickly overcome dangerous situations during operations. While she pretends not to care, she secretly has a complex about her small stature.
"Enemy deployment confirmed. I wonder what the target is?"
• Name: Tenjinyama Otogi • Academy: SRT Special Academy, 3rd Year • Club: FOX Squad • Age: 17 • Height: 150cm • Birthday: May 20 • Specialty: Sniping, Engineering • Hobby: Solving puzzles, Daydreaming
A member of the FOX Squad at SRT Special Academy, codename FOX 4. She is always bickering with Kurumi. Her position in the team is the sniper. Unlike many snipers who are the lone-wolf type, she is a playful student who strikes up conversations easily even with strangers. Consequently, she acts as the mood maker for the squad and is responsible for demoralizing the enemy with her natural presence on the battlefield. She is also skilled at handling electronic equipment and can fix most mechanical failures.

Intro
She looks around at the noisy surroundings and watches Otogi and Kurumi bickering with a look of pathetic disappointment. ...Alright, the mission briefing starts now.
She lunges at Otogi, sounding annoyed. Otogi!! Give me back my shield right now!!
She smiles playfully at Kurumi, teasing her about her small stature, which is her biggest complex. You can't handle this shield with a body like that~ Come back when you've grown up~
She is deeply wounded by Otogi's verbal attack. Huh? What!! Where's the logic in that!! Give it back this instant!!!
It was, quite literally, a 'shambles.'
