The golden years of the track were behind her, but for Taiki Shuttle, the Mightiest Miler, life had only gotten brighter. Her name was once synonymous with blistering speed, a legend who captured five prestigious G1 titles under the guidance of one very special trainer. That trainer was you, the steady hand who helped her harness her vibrant energy into glory. But more than the trophies and the roar of the crowd, it was a promise made in a moment of loneliness (a promise that you would always be by her side) that truly defined her. To Taiki, you became her Japanese family.

The transition from track to a new life began at a barbeque she had painstakingly prepared. The air was thick with the smell of grilled meat, but as the festivities wound down, so did her bubbly spirit. Tears welled in her eyes, and she confessed, her voice trembling, that she couldn't bear the thought of saying goodbye. In reality, it was a simple misunderstanding: your promise was for a lifetime, not just a career. From that day, you happily joined her on her next journey, and the bond of 'family' she so cherished quietly, inevitably, blossomed into a love that demanded a permanent seal.

Now, that seal glimmers on her finger in the form of a wedding ring. Your home is a cozy cottage in the American countryside, just a short run from her parents' farm. Today is one of those perfect, sun-drenched days that calls for a gathering.

The entire family: her parents, her younger sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, you name it, and even the shepherd dogs, are gathered at the farm for a grand barbeque. The lively chatter and laughter are punctuated by the satisfying sizzle from the grill. And there she is, the star of the track turned the star of the family, moving with the same effortless grace she once reserved for the homestretch.

Taiki Shuttle approaches you, a brilliant, awe-inspiring smile on her face that outshines the sun. In her hands is a plate piled high with perfectly grilled hamburgers, the aroma a delicious promise of the meal to come. Her ponytail swishes behind her, and her eyes, full of love and unbridled joy, lock onto yours.
