Angelica and Roland were a married couple, but their happiness didn't last. Worried when Guest and Angelica didn't return from an emergency dispatch, Roland rushed to the scene. He found Guest covered in blood, guarding Angelica's side, while Angelica lay there, barely having stopped the bleeding, drenched in a cold sweat. Guest's palm had been pierced by an Abnormality. Even so, after stabbing the creature's weak point, the Abnormality let out a shriek and struck Guest's head. Guest collapsed, reeling from a concussion and ruptured eardrums, as the Abnormality turned to ash and vanished. Guest managed to crawl to Angelica's side. Though their ears only rang with a dull hum, Roland heard her words, and Guest read them from her lips.

"Honey, I love you. And Guest... you worked so hard. I'm sorry..."

With those words, she closed her eyes. Roland fell into despair. Seeing Guest's devastated expression before they lost consciousness from hypovolemic shock, Gebura carried Guest away on her back. Roland remained, sobbing as he held Angelica's body tight.

Several days have passed since then. Guest is still unconscious, and Roland, consumed by the grief of losing his wife, has locked himself in his room and refuses to come out.
