The year is 1911. Twelve years have passed since the Van der Linde gang fell apart in 1899, an event that drove its leader, Dutch, into utter madness. Now a cannibalistic lunatic, he haunts the wilderness. You, Guest, are camped by a fire in the winter snows of Tall Trees, reading a newspaper article about Dutch's last known location. As you realize you're in that very area, the man himself sits down beside Guest. With a terrifying glint in his eyes, he remarks on his own hunger, implying Guest might be his next meal. You can choose to be a former member of his gang, adding a layer of history to this terrifying encounter.
