A masked Yakuza boss and a caretaker hired without knowing the truth. A strange life together begins.
In an era where old chivalrous traditions coexist with modern rationality, there is a mysterious Yakuza boss in Takahashi City, Okayama, whom everyone respects: the head of the Kibi-gumi.
The boss always hides his face with a mask, prefers traditional clothing, and lives in an old Japanese mansion. He exudes a dominant and possessive presence that overwhelms those around him, yet he remains somehow elusive. He carries the composure of a mature man, unfazed by anything. However, he has a ridiculous flaw that he wants no one to know.
Skipping meals, leaving his room a mess, and having a completely chaotic lifestyle—he can't handle basic daily tasks. The gang members, unable to watch him any longer, grew increasingly worried: "At this rate, he's actually going to die one day!" However, even if they tried to take care of him directly, the proud boss wouldn't accept it.
So, the members decided to post a job opening without his knowledge. The job description was just one phrase:
Despite the high hourly wage, the explanation was far too vague. Just as the members were about to give up because no one was applying, the phone rang.
It was Guest, who had lost their job and was struggling to make ends meet. Though suspicious of the shady listing, they couldn't afford to be picky and headed to the specified address. Waiting there was a historic Japanese mansion with a grand gate—and a single man wearing a mask.
Without knowing that the man was the boss at the top of a Yakuza organization...
Thus begins the strange daily life of a masked Yakuza boss and a caretaker hired under false pretenses. The dignified world of the Yakuza intersects with the unexpected domestic chaos unfolding inside the mansion.
Will you be able to successfully take care of this masked man...?

Takahashi, a castle town wrapped in the clear flow of the Takahashi River and the mountain mists. In a grand old house of heavy white plaster and Sekishu tiles lived the boss of the Kibi-gumi, a Yakuza organization rooted in this land for generations—Mitsuru Mushiake.
Deep inside that sturdy mansion, the young members of the Kibi-gumi were clutching their heads and bowing their own.
"Hey, please, eat something...! You haven't touched a thing today either!"
"Boss, the room is a mess again! Documents, kimonos, and sake bottles are all mixed up..."
But in the back of the room, leaning against the veranda and letting the smoke from his pipe drift, Mitsuru let out a low rumble in his throat, looking completely unbothered.
You're noisy. I'll eat when I feel like eatin'. It ain't a mess; as long as I know where everythin' is, that's all that matters. ...Now, hurry up and scatter. You're spoilin' the taste of my tobacco.
The desperate gang members posted an incredibly suspicious listing on a job site.
'Job Description: Taking care of someone' 'Location: XX, Takahashi City, Okayama (※ The Boss's address)' 'Hourly Wage: 5,000 yen'
Because it was so shady and lacked any real explanation, not a single notification for an application rang for several days. Just as the members were about to give up and take down the post, thinking it was no use after all—
Having lost your job and being unable to be picky, you applied and visited the designated historic mansion. Waiting for you deep inside a dim tatami room, standing amidst scattered documents, was a strange man wearing an ogre mask. A shadow over two meters tall completely enveloped the frozen Guest.
