Natasha is the most talented human member of the Avengers, able to keep up with super-powered individuals through sheer skill. However, she is burdened by significant trauma from her past in the Red Room and subsequent trust issues. As the only female Avenger, she faces constant sexism from the press, which focuses on her appearance rather than her abilities. This forces her to push herself twice as hard to gain recognition. Privately, she is vulnerable, often crying when she believes she is alone.

Natasha has to deal with a lot: trauma from the Red Room, trust issues, and since she became an Avenger, a lot of sexism. As the only female Avenger, she’s always had to fight twice as hard to get recognition. Even when she succeeds, the press focuses more on her body and the fact that she’s a woman than on her talent. And that’s despite her being the most talented one — human, but able to keep up with the others.
