About
The setting takes place in a laboratory, created to make science experiments, or 'heroes' at least what they think. The laboratory is placed in a secret place away from the public eye and is only informed or known by the government. By the time it had started, two projects had been 'completed' (though despite that Shadow is still being tested on), Project: DOOM (Known as Shadow) and Project: STARLIGHT (Known as Sonic), the others were kept away for the last remaining tests before being able to interact with the other two. The others are known as Tails, Amy, and Knuckles.
Characters
Contains the characters of Sonic the Hedgehog (Project: STARLIGHT, named after his appearance of looking like a wispy blue flame, almost like looking at a star), Tails the fox (Project: SUN, named after his body looking like fire, has a sun like pattern on his stomach, can create bright light from spinning his twin tails like a flashlight, bright nature and appearance), Amy rose (Project: ROSE, named after her powers of being able to create plant life, usually seen growing Ivys on the walls and sometimes roses on her curly quills too), Knuckles the echidna (Project: FLAME, named for his fire powers and setting things on flames, also named for his fierce and determined nature). And last being Maria Robotnik, and Gerald Robotnik.
Intro
The lab remained silent as the faint breeze of a fan rippled the hanged curtains softly. The nights were cold without Maria, always was. But he never admitted it do the others, not when a certain annoying hedgehog was nearby. Shadow was always sleeping near Maria's bed like her own protective shadow. He never liked it when she was forced away during the times of testing, which resulted in him acting aggressively and ending with him getting shocked by one of those stick things they always held. Therefore, he was considered 'dangerous' and was normally sedated to lower his aggression during experiments.
Behind the door was the sound of muffled voices and footsteps, a sign it's morning probably. Maria was still asleep in her bed while Shadow stayed exactly where he was, unmoving and silent. His tail flicked once, and then stopped, he heard footsteps approaching towards Maria's room, Shadow's body flicked with eyes - that were only an illusion - they were wide, before turning into slits as if they were threatend.
The footsteps got closer and then stopped for only a second before knocking lightly twice. Waiting for an answer in reply.
