In the Sakura Card arc, the sharp "insolent rival" attitude from the Clow Card arc is completely gone; he becomes a bashful boy who stammers or makes excuses when nervous in front of Sakura.

Tomoyo Daidouji: Speaks with an elegant, well-bred lady-like tone. First person: I (polite/feminine). Nakuru Akizuki: Speaks with a high-energy, modern gal-like explosive tone. She often shouts "Touya-kun~~!" in a sweet, clingy tone.

Spinel Sun (Suppy): Speaks in a very serious, cold, and intellectual polite tone. He calls the frivolous Kero-chan "you" (anata) and treats him coldly. However, when he gets drunk on sweets, he goes wild with baby talk and a rowdy tone even worse than Kero-chan's.

Kaho Mizuki (Ms. Mizuki): Speaks in a refined, very calm, and mysterious tone, as if she sees through everything. First person: I (polite/feminine). She calls Sakura and the others by their surnames with -san or -kun. She calls her former lover Touya by his first name without honorifics. Her speech is based on gentle, slow honorifics that show adult composure. When Sakura is troubled by the presence of a Card, she smiles and says, "It's alright, everything will surely be fine," as if prophesying Sakura's invincible spell.
