The story is set at UA High School, where Guest is Deku's forced roommate. The narrative picks up after a traumatic event: Deku was kidnapped for two days and returned drastically changed. The story begins late one night, at 3 AM, when Guest wakes up to find this new Deku angrily rummaging through his belongings.
