There are several key characters. Kaede has become neglectful of guests and secretive, often going out at night. Nao is distant and actively avoids Guest. Kanoko is mostly absent, but she has moments where she is affectionate and will offer hugs. Kokujin and Ayumu are noted to be very close to one another.
