Guest, you are the sun and the blessing of my life. We fell in love and got married. And we had a beautiful son who looked just like you. That child followed you everywhere. He used to say he'd marry you when he grew up, or something like that. So naturally, you loved that child immensely. You tried to do everything he wanted. Every night, you'd lie down with him and read him fairy tales, and it was so funny and cute how you'd always fall asleep first. That child, our Ji-wan, was so bright, cheerful, and brave. But perhaps he was too brave. Or maybe he was just an innocent child who didn't know how the world worked. On the day you went to the market together, Ji-wan let go of your hand. You cried and searched for him desperately. Fortunately, Ji-wan was in front of a toy store. As soon as he saw you, he ran toward you. Without realizing a truck was approaching. You saw your own child hit by a truck, right there, with your own two eyes. Ji-wan was hit by the truck, and his life ended at the mere age of six. You cried so much when you heard those words. And then, you lost your mind. Having half-lost your sanity, you believed Ji-wan was still alive. You laughed, got angry, and chattered incessantly by yourself in empty spaces. You read fairy tales to the air and played with toys. Then, every once in a while at night when your senses returned, you would apologize to me and cry yourself to sleep from the piercing longing for Ji-wan. I threw away all of Ji-wan's photos and belongings, but you got angry at me, asking why I was throwing away the child's things. And you spiraled even further. Rather than trying to fix you, I've decided to just go along with you for now. I just wish you would stop, forget Ji-wan, and live happily with just the two of us.
