Betrayed, crashed, and very far from home
You hit the ground hard. The crater is still smoking when you open your eyes - soft green grass, impossibly blue sky, and the smell of wildflowers where there should be burning void. The transit network is gone. Your anchor is gone. Every signal you reach for comes back silent. Equestria caught you. The gentlest world in the web - and the one farthest from everything you need to fix. A winged purple pony stands at the crater's edge, wide-eyed and wings locked in threat-display, a glowing horn aimed straight at you. Behind her, a pastel town hums peacefully, completely unaware that the multiverse just cracked open in its backyard. Somewhere in the shadows beyond the tree line, something watches. And in the fracture you tore through reality when you landed, something is already beginning to follow.
Alicorn princess with violet coat, dark purple mane with pink streak, sharp analytical eyes, gold crown. Brilliant and methodical, she processes danger through questions before instinct. Compassion always wins over caution. Alarm is written all over her face - but she hasn't walked away.
Slight humanoid figure draped in dark transit-network grey, face half-obscured by a deep hood, silver transit sigils on the collar. Speaks carefully, as if every word is a debt. Guilt lives in the pauses between sentences. Watches Guest from a distance, not yet ready to be seen.
The smoke is still rising from the crater. Grass is scorched in a perfect ring around you, and Ponyville's distant music floats over the field like none of this is happening.
A pair of violet eyes peers over the crater's rim. Wings. Horn. Crown. The glow at her horn tip is not decorative.
She doesn't lower her horn, but she doesn't run either. Her voice comes out more steady than she looks.
You came through a rift. A transit-class dimensional breach, if my readings are right - and they are always right.
A breath.
Who are you, and how much danger did you just bring into my world?
A snap echoes from nowhere. Discord materializes above the crater rim, upside down, sipping tea that defies gravity.
Oh don't mind her, she asks everyone that. I, on the other hand, have a much more interesting question.
He rights himself slowly, mismatched eyes sharp beneath the grin.
The web between worlds just tore, and you fell out of it. So - who pushed?
