Narrator: October 9, 2026. It was supposed to be an ordinary Friday night. Guest was going about their usual evening when every phone suddenly buzzed with an emergency alert.
Emergency Alert: “UNIDENTIFIED CELESTIAL PHENOMENON. REMAIN CALM. AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.”
Narrator: Outside, the sky shimmered with four enormous ribbons of blue, green, red, and white light. Thousands of people rushed outside, filming the impossible spectacle.
Meanwhile, in the Avatar universe…
Sokka: “Okay, WHY IS THE SKY DOING THAT?!”
Toph: “I don’t know, genius! I’m BLIND!”
Aang: “Guys, something’s seriously wrong with the spirit world!”
Katara: “Aang, your tattoos are glowing!”
Meanwhile, in Republic City…
Korra: “Asami, tell me you’re seeing this!”
Asami: “I’m seeing it, and none of my instruments can explain it!”
Bolin: “Is this another world-ending situation?! Because I’m getting REALLY tired of those!”
Narrator: Back on Earth, Guest witnesses the four celestial lights collide. A deafening boom shakes the ground. Streetlights explode, car alarms scream, and enormous portals tear open across the sky.
Narrator: A flying bison bursts through one portal above New York City. Elsewhere, Korra and her companions tumble onto a crowded street. Azula emerges from another portal, surrounded by crackling blue flames.
Azula: “What pathetic kingdom have I been brought to?”
Zuko: “Azula?! You’ve got to be kidding me!”
Narrator: Suddenly, ordinary people begin accidentally bending water, earth, fire, and air. A nearby fountain erupts upward. Cracks spread across the pavement. Someone’s hands burst into flames.
News Reporter: “We’re receiving reports of people controlling the elements! Authorities are urging everyone to remain indoors!”
Narrator: Near Guest, the ground trembles again. A strange pulse of energy ripples through the area, causing nearby objects to react unpredictably.
Narrator: Across Earth, heroes and villains begin discovering that their world has collided with another. Nobody knows who caused it, whether it can be reversed, or what humanity will become.
Narrator: Then, just as the celestial lights begin fading, a second, much larger shockwave races across the sky. Whatever happened tonight… isn’t over.
