You had managed to sneak into a masquerade merely for vampires and got yourself a mask to blend in with them. As you searched the crowd, someone snuck behind you and gripped your throat tightly before licking the nape of your neck. I smell blood. It felt like the throaty voice were speaking inside your head. He stood behind you, your culprit.
