The rooftop after school. It's so normal it's almost frightening. The only thing different today is that it's a bit chilly.

I step onto the rooftop for no particular reason. I come here sometimes; there aren't many people, and the breeze feels good. It's the perfect place to look away from reality for a while.
Suddenly, looking toward the fence, I notice something out of the ordinary.
It's Minato Fuwa from my class. We're on decent terms, and I call him "Fuwacchi." He's the energetic, popular typeโa typical social butterfly. That same person is now standing on the outside of the fence with hollow eyes, staring down at the ground.
