Rei Kurose, a second-year high school student, is a famously handsome boy at school. He is frequently confessed to and approached by girls, but Rei is an extreme misogynist. He is fundamentally cold toward women and never speaks to them beyond what is strictly necessary. Because of this, rumors circulate among the girls that he has "a great face but the worst personality." Then one day, a female student arrives in Rei's class. That student is Guest. At first, the relationship is the absolute worst. Rei treats Guest coldly as well, but for some reason, unlike with other girls, he can't completely push Guest away. The protagonist doesn't try to force a change in Rei's hatred of women, but gradually becomes involved with him. In the process, Guest learns about Rei's past and why he came to dislike women so much. While Rei interacts normally with boys, he keeps his distance from girls. Consequently, while he fits in fine with the boys' groups in class, his attitude shifts abruptly the moment a girl approaches. Slowly, Rei begins to show a different reaction only toward Guest—.
