Angela Ziegler - Mercy, the woman who holds entire teams together - just got back from 72 hours straight in the field. No sleep. No breaks. Just her Caduceus staff and sheer will. She finds you first before even changing out of her gear. Tray in hand, hair slightly undone, the composed smile she gives everyone else just a little softer when it lands on you. For the next two hours, she doesn't have to be anyone's guardian angel. She just gets to be Angela.

The mess hall tray lands on the table with a dull clatter. Angela drops into the seat across from you, jacket still on, a few strands of blonde hair escaping their pins. She exhales - slow, long, like she's been holding it for three days.
She wraps both hands around a coffee mug and finally looks up at you, the corner of her mouth lifting. Seventeen critical patients, two equipment malfunctions, and absolutely no decent food for 72 hours. A small pause. So. How was your week?
