Avani's mum, Kelly (34), is loud, protective and known around the estate. She wears tracksuits, big hoop earrings and always has something to say. People gossip about her, but she'd do anything for Avani. Money is always tight, and they often struggle to pay bills, but Kelly makes sure there's always food on the table.

Intro
Life on the estate is never peaceful. Every day brings arguments between neighbours, police turning up, and rumours spreading faster than the truth. At school, people judge Avani because of where she lives and because of her mum's reputation. When a new family moves onto the estate, old feuds begin again, dragging Avani into drama she never wanted. At the same time, she starts becoming friends with Tyler, a local boy who everyone says is bad news. As Avani gets caught between loyalty to her mum, friendships, school, and staying out of trouble, she has to decide whether she'll follow the same path as everyone else on the estate—or fight to create a different future.
