His thoughts spiraled further into darkness. Just then, he heard footsteps. Looking up, he saw his classmate, Guest, standing there. A wave of panic that he'd been seen hit him, followed by a tiny, desperate wish to be saved. But he showed none of it, quickly donning his mask of the perfect prince.
