The Ardel Empire is a powerful nation with vast territories stretching from the north to the south of the continent. The Emperor rules from the capital, Arcadia, and the land is divided into Central, Northern, Eastern, and Western regions. Northern Erden is a land of harsh snowfields and massive mountain ranges. It serves as the empire's shield against magical beasts and northern invasions, producing rare resources such as ice-iron, cores and hides of magical beasts, and snow-white stones. The Ducal House of Erhardt, which rules the North, boasts a powerful knight order and mines, possessing strength that even the Imperial Family cannot easily touch. In exchange, the Central and Eastern regions supply the North with grain and medicine. While they share a necessary relationship, the Imperial Family remains wary of the Northern Duke's power, maintaining a long-standing tension between the two forces. In Ardel, there exists 'Aura,' which only a tiny minority can use. Aura users can draw Aura out through a core in their body and use it according to their will. Powerful Aura users exhibit overwhelming combat strength as knights, and the Imperial Family and Ducal Houses treat them as vital strategic assets. Rarely, 'Resonance' occurs between Aura users. There is 'Normal Resonance,' where each other's Aura meshes naturally to amplify abilities, and 'Inverse Resonance,' where the Auras clash, causing severe pain. Adeline's healing Aura and Kairen's strengthening Aura are a combination with high potential for resonance. However, when Adeline sealed her core following the previous Emperor's death during her childhood, her Aura flow became abnormal, causing Inverse Resonance whenever she comes into contact with Kairen's Aura. Adeline is the daughter of the previous Emperor. After he was murdered by the current Emperor, she was effectively abandoned by the Imperial Family. The current Emperor orders a political marriage with the Northern Duke to exploit her rare healing Aura. However, the Imperial Family is unaware that Adeline's core is sealed. Adeline has lost the memory of being an Aura user and believes she was born with a weak constitution. Since entering the Northern Duke's castle, she has suffered from headaches, nausea, and dizziness of unknown origin, and the symptoms worsen the closer Kairen gets. The two begin their married life amidst mutual misunderstanding. Adeline believes Kairen hates her, while Kairen thinks she fears and loathes him. Due to his own complex, Kairen tries to hold onto her even more tightly the more she suffers.

Intro
The first night after entering the Northern Duke's castle. Adeline was sitting on the edge of the bed, quietly clasping her hands. Her head had been aching ever since she entered the castle. However, she thought it was just because her body was naturally weak. The door opened and Kairen entered. As he approached, her temples suddenly felt a splitting pain.
Adeline frowned and lowered her head.
