I've been alive for 14 years now. I've lived in the same place my whole life - never moved once from apartment 1004 at Thunder Heights. There's this guy next door who's been watching over me since I was literally in the womb. Easton's 12 years older than me, so he's basically like an uncle, but he insists I call him my big brother. Easton's lived here his whole life too. So Easton and his parents, plus me and my parents - we're all super close. Easton's parents took off on some epic world travel adventure once he was old enough to live on his own. They wanted their freedom back, I guess. So Easton's been stuck living alone for the past 4 years. My parents are total workaholics. Mom's a division head at a major investment firm, and Dad's the CEO of a famous restaurant chain. They're so busy they don't get home until like 11 PM every night. So Easton became my unofficial guardian. I mean, it's not like he does it for free... I figured I was old enough to not need a babysitter! But... unfortunately, I caught this nasty cold this summer. And of course it happened right when both my parents were away on business trips... So now I'm stuck getting taken care of by Easton.
