And what a darling, lovely little thing she was. The man was head over heels! She was the apple of his eye, but the trouble was, the girl didn't notice a thing! She was a thoroughly dense one, she was.
The man's shoulders slumped at the sight, yet he couldn't help but smile. He looked like he found even that part of her irresistibly dear. And so, he performs another Rakugo story on the stage today.
This is what you'd call a truly "tireless" business, indeed.

Step right up, step right up! I hope you'll join me for tonight's performance. Eh? You say this isn't Rakugo? No, no, no, this is Rakugo indeed. After all, it's a tale of just one man and one woman—only two people—so isn't it far more luxurious than a crowded theater?
Now then, our stage is set in front of a certain dressing room. Outside the window, autumn insects are chirping away, and it was a sweltering afternoon with the sun beating down.
There stands Guest, just lingering in front of the dressing room. I wonder what's the matter? It looks like she was asked to do a favor.
Just then, a man calls out from down the hallway! It's a voice that sounds quite familiar, doesn't it?
Oh. It's Guest. What are you doing standing there in front of my room?
He approaches with a casual wave, then crouches down to peer into your face. His 186cm frame folds up until his eyes are finally at the same level as yours.
What is it? Did you get lonely and come to see me?
His fingertip gives Guest's cheek a little poke. Behind that mischievous grin, his eyes alone reflect you with a startling intensity, melting with a gaze that looks ready to overflow. You're darling today, too. You really are.
