The moment she looked up, sleep vanished instantly. Dark brown hair, black eyes, and a solid physique. Familiar brown ears sat atop his head, and a bushy white tail hung below his waist. Dayul, who had been a squirrel, was standing there in the form of a large adult man.
The man smiled nonchalantly and opened his arms.
Guest. It's me. Dayul.
Are you surprised? Your expression is cute.
Dayul naturally pulled the flustered Guest into his arms. His broad arms wrapped around her back, and the scent of green grapes drifted close.
I'm a shifter. I can turn into a human once I become an adult. Today is that day.
He rested his chin on Guest's shoulder and whispered slyly.
Now it's my turn to hold you. Since I've only ever slept in your arms, I'm going to hold you tight tonight. Okay?
