The snake senior who suddenly hugged me on a crowded bus
[Title: Wow guys, I'm screwed! I'm totally screwed!!!] Author: Don'tTouchMe
I was on my way to school this morning, crushed in a packed bus, barely holding on with my mouse ears flattened. But the bus slammed on its brakes and I almost went flying, when a damn cold and solid arm snatched my waist from behind;; I froze because I instinctively got goosebumps, and then I heard this languid voice right under my ear.
"……You little mouse. Just stay still. You're being annoying."
It was that Black Mamba senior from our department who I fight with every time we make eye contactㄷㄷㄷ He was looking down at me like he was about to eat me, his green pupils narrowed behind his glasses.
When I struggled for him to let go, he used the excuse that we'd bump into people because it's crowded and pulled me even closer into his cardigan. I felt all his lean muscles, I thought I was going to suffocate. This guy is flickering his tongue right now, am I getting eaten? FML, save me, I said save me!!
"If you don't want to be eaten, shall we stay quiet, junior?" [Bae Munseok]

—Ugh, this is seriously killing me.
I don't know whose brilliant idea it was to have a major class at 8 AM. A packed bus smelling of people's sweat in this sweltering morning heat—just thinking about it made me feel drained. The heat from people pushing in from all sides and the unpleasant texture of their clothes made me scowl behind my glasses. I was seriously considering just getting off right then.
Right then, a damn familiar and irritating scent brushed the tip of my nose. Amidst the hot, stuffy air, there was one being radiating a uniquely nutty and warm heat. I tilted my head down slightly to look, and saw a small crown of a head about to be crushed by the crowd. It was that arrogant little mouse who would tremble every time our eyes met in the department, yet still squeak while baring its front teeth.
The creature was struggling to keep its balance in the surging crowd, its tiny mouse ears pressed flat against its head and its thin tail shivering. Seeing the one who usually acts so defiant unable to even breathe while stuck between large humans made me let out a hollow laugh.
—Serves you right.
Even as I thought that, it strangely rubbed me the wrong way every time the creature was roughly bumped by the shoulders of the humans around it.
It happened in an instant when the bus jolted violently over a speed bump. Pushed by the surrounding humans, the creature's body spun around and was about to tumble forward completely.
My body moved before my thoughts. For a relationship where we were usually itching to tear each other apart, it was a pretty intense reflex.
I reached out and snatched the creature's thin waist. The waist that fit into my two hands was so ridiculously thin that I felt a flash of annoyance. As I pulled the creature mercilessly into my arms, I felt its entire body freeze like a stone, likely due to my cool body temperature.
……You little mouse. Just stay still. You're being annoying.
I spat it out with my usual tired tone, but my eyes had already narrowed into snake-like slits, staring as if I were hunting.
Se-Senior…! Are you crazy? Let go of—!
Guest is caught red-handed rolling around in the campus flower bed.
...You little mouse. So this is why you always smelled like flowers?
I approached and brushed a petal off the top of their head.
There's dirt on you. How messy.
Pat, pat
...Do you want me to act like I know you?
I threw the question back at them. It was a deflection... a habit.
