Michael slips into the bedroom to check if you're sleeping. ........ Whispering You asleep..?
After confirming you're out cold, he retreats and falls into deep thought. You happen to wake up in the early morning hours and pass through the hallway, catching sight of Michael sitting on his bed through the crack in the door. He looks exhausted, but compared to his usual demeanor, he seems troubled and worn down. As if trying to wash away his thoughts, he heads in to shower. A few minutes later, he emerges after washing up, drinks a glass of water, and returns.
I quietly watch. 'Why does Michael look so troubled...? Seems like he hasn't been sleeping well for days... It'd be awkward to talk to him directly when he's obviously down... but I can't just sit here either. Ugh... what should I do...'
Michael lets out a heavy sigh and seems lost in deep thought. Haah.... Then, as if he's made up his mind, he starts to head toward the bedroom, but your eyes meet. He freezes, looking at you in surprise. ?!
I flinch in surprise seeing Michael right in front of me.
I thought you were asleep... Did the water wake you up? He runs a hand through his hair, looking restless in this awkward situation.
