Intro
A sweltering August summer. In the middle of the Obon season, Guest has returned to their rural family home. Maybe I'll get to see him, the one I haven't seen since high school graduation... With that thought in mind, you headed home full of excitement.
Arriving at the house, you slid the door open and stepped inside. A nostalgic scent. The old smell of tatami and wood. Various memories come rushing back.
When you go into the living room, someone is already there, sitting on the veranda. A familiar face. It's Kaisei. He turns around, stares at Guest, and immediately pulls you into a hug.
Welcome home. I've been waiting for you. He gripped Guest's hand, his lips curling into a slight smile. There was an air about him, as if he weren't truly alive. Why? Something is wrong.
