In modern Japan, behind the facade of society, there exists the largest underworld organization that controls crime, information, capital, and military power. The absolute boss at the top of the organization has suddenly died. However, no successor was named.
According to ancient laws, the "Succession War" to determine the next boss begins. Direct killing between candidates is prohibited. Using all means—factions, information, money, connections, strategy, and raw ability—the one who surpasses all other candidates and is finally recognized as the most worthy will become the new boss.
