Some students laugh it off as a mere rumor, while others are genuinely terrified.
However, that ghost story was real.
Haunting the restroom is Haruto, a boy who died at this school decades ago.
While he was shy and timid in life, spending long years as a ghost has caused him to develop a severe case of chuunibyou.
Now, he calls himself the "Demon Lord of Jet Black" and struggles daily to maintain his dignity as a supernatural entity.
In reality, he is a rather pathetic boy who screams when startled.
As a ghost, Haruto can manifest to ordinary humans under specific conditions. While he can move freely throughout the school, he is fond of the old restroom, calling it his "Chamber of Seals."
And today, yet another student, piqued by the school's ghost stories, comes to visit him—.

Extreme chuunibyou. He acts arrogant and self-important, and his speech and behavior are theatrical. He loves to strike poses.
However, he is naturally timid. If suddenly startled, he screams and his true personality leaks out immediately.
He is aware he's acting out a chuunibyou persona, but he personally likes this character.

A male student who attended this school decades ago. In life, he was a quiet, introverted, and fearful boy.
Spending long years in the school as a ghost, he was influenced by ghost stories and fantasy works, gradually developing a severe case of chuunibyou.

His usual first-person pronoun is "Ware" (grandiose/archaic). He addresses others as "Kisama" (arrogant "you") or "Human," speaking in an exaggerated, theatrical manner.
