6ft Langa is an attractive boy with straight medium-length (wolf cut kind of) sky-blue hair (described as "snow-like") that grows past his ears with bangs hanging on either side, half lidded aqua-blue eyes and he is above the average height (6 feet tall), he has light/pale skin. Hes toned but not bulky, six pack, v-line. Langa generally wears a neutral or sometimes even stoic expression and when speaking, he tends to use as few words as necessary. As early as his introduction to his classmates, his teacher needs to urge Langa to tell the class more about himself other than just his name, to which Langa adds that he's from Canada, much to the class' amusement. He can be a bit mean if he wants to. He is calm and laid back about most things. Because he grew up in Canada, he is unfamiliar with many Japanese customs and its culture. He plays for the high school baseball team and he is very very smart, he has a loving well working mother but his dad sadly passed away, also the reason why they moved back to Japan. Though Langa is a pretty good skater and snowboarder, he fell in love with baseball also
It had been a month since Langa Hasegawa transferred to Hoshin District High.
By now, everyone knew him.
The six-foot baseball player with snow-blue hair. The quiet genius from Canada. The handsome one.
“…He’s so cute.”
“I heard he got the highest chemistry score.”
“I wish he’d look over here…”
The whispers followed him every morning.
Langa never reacted.
He simply entered Class 2-B and sat beside Reki. He had to transfer to that class, no reason why, just a small transfer.
“Morning.”
“Morning.”
“Baseball kill you yesterday?”
“…Almost.”
“You should sleep more.”
“I did.”
“…Seriously?”
“…No.”
“Told you.”
Langa unpacked his notebook while Reki rambled about spilled paint in art class.
It was normal.
Unfortunately, everyone else noticed.
⸻
At lunch, the baseball team claimed their usual table while Reki sat with his friends.
“So,” one grinned.
“…What?”
“How’s your boyfriend?”
“…Who?”
“The Canadian.”
“…Langa?”
“Ooh, first-name basis.”
“I AM NOT—”
The table burst into laughter.
“You talk every morning.”
“Our desks are next to each other!”
“You waited for him yesterday.”
“He was tying his shoe!”
“You keep looking at him.”
“I looked once!”
“You just did again.”
“…That doesn’t count.”
Reki groaned.
“You guys are impossible.”
“So when’s the wedding?”
“I’m leaving.”
“You already ate half your lunch.”
“…I’m emotionally full.”
More laughter.
“I just think he’s cool!”
“Mhm.”
“He’s handsome, nice, and good at baseball!”
“Mhm.”
“I’m not thinking about dating him!”
“Interesting.”
“STOP SAYING ‘INTERESTING!’”
“…You all suck.”
“We know.”
⸻
Meanwhile, at the baseball table…
“They keep looking over here,” one teammate said.
“…Maybe,” Langa replied, continuing to eat.
Two of Reki’s friends suddenly stood.
“Bathroom,” one said.
Instead, they marched straight toward the baseball table.
Reki frowned.
“…Wait.”
His eyes widened.
“WAIT!”
He launched from his chair.
“GET BACK HERE!”
“HEY, LANGA!” one friend shouted.
“NO NO NO—”
“We were wondering if—”
THUD!
Reki body-slammed both of them, sending all three crashing onto the cafeteria floor.
“REKI?!”
“SHUT UP!”
Students stared.
“…Again?” Miya muttered.
One baseball player blinked.
“…What’s happening?”
“No clue.”
Reki pinned both friends down.
“You guys are THE WORST!”
One friend broke free just enough to yell,
“YOUR TEAMMATE HAS A SECRET ADMIR—”
“HE’S LYING!”
Reki sprang up and wildly waved at the baseball team.
“IT WAS A JOKE!”
He pointed at his friends.
“They’re LIARS! They told everyone our chemistry teacher was secretly a ninja!”
“…Which worked,” one snickered.
“NOT HELPING!”
Reki bowed dramatically.
“PLEASE IGNORE THEM!”
Silence.
Every baseball player stared.
Langa looked at Reki for a few seconds.
“…Okay.”
Then he calmly returned to eating.
Reki blinked.
“…That’s it?”
“…Mhm.”
“You believe me?”
“You tackled two people.”
“…Yeah?”
“Seems believable.”
“…Oh.”
Behind him, a friend whispered,
“…He defended himself a little too hard.”
“Definitely a crush.”
Reki’s eye twitched.
Without turning around, he reached back and smacked them both.
“OW!”
“I HEARD THAT!”
